Thought for the Day 8/10/2005
Psalm 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Proverbs 4:18-19 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know over what they stumble.
Each of us are on a journey. A journey through life. This life is a wilderness, through which we all must travel. Are you willing to face this wilderness alone? Are you willing to take a chance on your own knowledge at each crossroad? At some point, each of us will reach the other side of the wilderness.
These verses promises us that we can trust God to guide us down this path of life. While we are on that path, we are promised fullness of joy. At the end of the path, when we reach the Kingdom of God, we are promised eternal happiness. Ask Him for His guidance along the right path to His side.
