Thought for the Day 5/31/2013

John 5:25, 29 “ Truly , truly , I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God , and those who hear will live . Do not marvel at this ; for an hour is coming , in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice , and will come forth ; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life , those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment .” God grants us a wonderful gift of life on this earth. During this life we have a choice to serve ourselves or to serve Him and His Son. Charles Hummell For the grace of God has appeared,           bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives             in the present age,      waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Titus 2:11-13

"Vision is the art of seeing things invisible." - Jonathon Swift So we do not lose heart.    Though our outer self is wasting away,           our inner self is being renewed day by day. ….as we look not to the things that are seen                 but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient,               but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
