E very day this week will be bits from Cowboy's Guide to Life : ·      Don't sell your mule to buy a plow. ·      If you're ridin' ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's still there with ya. ·      Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you. You cannot unsay a cruel word. ·      Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer. ·      Don't interfere with somethin' that ain't botherin' you none. ~ Bob Hardison L isten to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. ~ Proverbs 19:20

Be outstanding in your field. ~Ilan Shamir    I know the best thing we can do is to always     enjoy life, because God's gift to us is      the happiness we get from our food and drink,         and from the work we do.  ~Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 (CEV)

Thought for the Day 8/10/2010

THANKS TO GOD Hello God, I called tonight To talk a little while I need a friend who'll listen To my anxiety and trial. You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own... I need your love to guide me, So I'll never feel alone. I want to ask you please to keep My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence For whatever fate they're bound. Give me faith, dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day, And not to worry over things I can't change in any way. I thank you God for being home And listening to my call, For giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall. Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time. I never get a busy signal, Never had to pay a dime. So thank you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow. Good night, God, I love You too, And I'll call again tomorrow! Unknown Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice. Psalm 55:17
