Thought for the Day 4/25/2007
Psalm 37 reminds us not to store up our treasures here on this earth.
So many people today are giving up their eternal happiness
in exchange for temporary pleasures.
What would you have to exchange just to have that
new sports car, new home, extra income, or new lifestyle that you desire?
David reminds us that it's better to have just a "little" here on this earth than to forfeit our eternal inheritance.
-Daily Psalm
Better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the LORD sustains the righteous.
The LORD knows the days of the blameless,
And their inheritance will be forever.
Psalm 37:16-18
