PERSEVERE ANYWAY

People are often mean and cruel and irresponsible,
LOVE THEM ANYWAY

People often try to tear down what you build up.
BUILD TODAY ANYWAY

If you commit yourself to goodness,
people may attack you for false piety,
COMMIT YOURSELF TO GOODNESS ANYWAY.

If you try to help people,
they will often resent you and feel dependent,
TRY TO HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY.

Persevere and give the best you’ve got.
Commit with every ounce and fiber of your being,
You may get kicked in the pants,
BUT PERSEVERE and give the world the best you've got,
and give it every fiber of your being ANYWAY,
Because it is really between YOU and GOD ... Anyway!!!

We also exult in our tribulations,
knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
and perseverance, proven character;
and proven character, hope;
and hope does not disappoint, b
ecause the love of God has been poured out within our hearts.
