Thought for the Day 4/25/2011
The joyful news that He is risen does not change the contemporary world.
Still before us lie work, discipline, sacrifice.
But the fact of Christ’s Resurrection gives us
the spiritual power to do the work,
accept the discipline, and make the sacrifice.
~Henry Knox Sherrill
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In His great mercy He has given us new birth into
a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade….
1 Peter 1:3-4
