Thought for the Day 1/27/2025

I trust that the things that happen to me all have valuable lessons that I can learn from. 

I will look at each new situation that comes as something I can benefit from.

For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every one whom he receives. 

It is for discipline that you have to endure. 

God is treating you as children. For what child is there whom his father does not discipline? For our fathers disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. 

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
