Hand Prayers – you carry a prayer guide with you all the time. Just look at your hand and visualize your fingers and palm as being the beginning of ways to say “Thank you, God,” for all your blessings.
Praise - Thumb - praise is glorifying God for who and what he is and for how this affects you.
Thanksgiving - Index - thanksgiving is thanking God for what He has done and what He is going to do.
Confession - Middle - confession is telling God about your sin, and asking for forgiveness through and by Jesus Christ His Son.. It is your response to His holiness.
Intercession - Ring - intercession is praying for others. It is your response to God’s love for people, God’s love flowing through you.
Petition - Little - petition is asking God for something for yourself to the honor and glory of God, according to His will and wisdom.
Listening - Palm - listening is pausing and letting your heart be still. Listen to God’s Word in His Bible.
1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.
